Whether they actually do or not is anyone's guess

Tru' say.
But that photo looks wrong: it's as if you've got green treads, rather than sidewalls.
Say it isn't so.

Your right, I do. Have I bought the wrong version?

They don't make Paves in 23 - until this year they made them in 24's instead of 25.. so maybe look for them? The problem is likely the wider rims you are using - tyres always come up bigger on them.
In terms of Rubino's vs Pave - I've used both pretty extensively and I can safely say there is a big difference; in rolling resistance and especially in handling.
Rubinos (especially in 23mm - where you have to run them at higher pressure) are about as good in the wet / loose stuff as a pair of roller skates. Whereas Paves are the best handling tyre I've ever used in mixed conditions.
If you plan on riding in straight lines and braking heavily for corners, Rubino's will be fine (and last ages) - but I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole after losing my front wheel a couple of times in greasy conditions. I decided a while ago that life is too short for crap tyres.

You have the old ones right? I liked the green treads.
-
• #985
I'd be interested (assuming it's the sidewall that is green)...
-
• #986
I guess so. They were cheapest at Ribble so maybe they're old stock.
@Scilly.Suffolk someone's gonna have to explain the whole 'hey asshole' thing to me...
-
• #989
@dan ah cool cheers for the info, didn't know they don't do 23mm... anyone have the 24mm and want to swap?
@Scilly.Suffolk yeah they are the green sidewall ones...

Stupid idea to use 25mm tyre on a 25.5 internal width rim?
-
• #993
25.5internal - motherofgod - booooyaah - what model is it?
-
• #994
Yes, unless you like to damage your rims due to pinch flats.
-
• #995
High pressure not work on wide rims to avoid pinch flats?
-
• #996
Works fine
-
• #997
It would, but defeat the point.
Just run 28mm instead.
-
• #998
Wouldn't 25mm tyres on a 25mm rim be practically flat?
-
• #999
Tyre measurement is width at widest point but bead would sit smaller than that surely?
-
• #1000
Wide rims wouldnt be for comfort though
