Found my Seiko wrapped up in my work bench, nearly forgot I had it. It's a 70's Seiko 5 Sports (6119/6053), I need to give it a movement service it at some point, change the tube/plexi and washers to get it waterproof again.
Apparently it's a yacht timer, the Bezel revolves and the blue/green fade minute track on the dial also revolves via the crown.
I like the colours. Such colours.

That is... pretty awesome actually, even with the hipster filter.

Busted.
I'm deleting my facebook in a few days and switching solely to instagram. All of the filters.

That is very nice, love the colours. Looks a lot like the colours of the Martini livered racing cars.

Still thinking about the Tudor Ranger, looks great IMHO on the oyster bracelet. Loving the Pelagos so have a good feel for craftsmanship and quality - just not 100% on size. Need to try one on to know as have a feeling it might be a bit on the large side.
I guarantee the trend for large watches is on the wane.

Tried a Pelagos today and just LOVE it ! Same size as my Seiko SKX007, and a nice weight, even though I often "slag" Ti for feeling like a hard plastic because it can be so lite. The clasp is a work of art.. quickly adjustable, dive extension AND spring loaded to expand on hot days - purrfect.
I think they are under priced at £2.5k to open up the market, so could justify it as possible a good investment too.

^ and thats the reason why we buy these things.
Not because we are trying to tell the world how much we are/arent worth but because we love them.

Very, very cool VanUden. It's great that you held out for exactly the right thing. Beautiful 'timpiece' too, well done.

That lead me to look up the most complications in a wrist watch...
The Franck Muller Aeternitas Mega 4
Mechanic Tourbillon, Carillon Westminster on 4 hammers and 4 gongs, Chronograph with fly-back mechanism and only one push-piece, Perpetual Calendar Secular, Equation of time, Two additional time zones, Automatic self-winding mechanism for the movement and the Westminster carillon.

The Aeternitas Mega 4 is the most complicated wristwatch ever produced in the world with its 36 complications, 1483 components and 99 rubies.

The owner just died. I wonder if this may cause problems for the sale?

Why thank you! I was so tempted so many times to 'make do' and say 'oh feck it' nobody gives a toss except me anyway. What does it matter if it was made in June or December?! Luckily stubbornness prevailed :)
