Clever Mike - bike shop/workshop on Hornsey Road

I've just visited this place for the first time and realised that it's a bit of a gem which perhaps more people need to know about. I am surprised I didn't know about it before, despite having lived in the area for a year, and despite the fact that the brains behind it is actually a well-known forumenger. This is possibly down to the fact that he lacks the tendency towards shameless self-publicity, so instead here is some shameless publicity from someone else who feels like this sort of business needs to be promoted.

Plenty of good used parts for sale (Thomson stems, Campag brake calipers, etc.), lots of new fixed gear friendly components for sale (Goldtec hubs, Mike Giant grips, Restrap) and workshop jobs which are highly thought of.

Yeah, I bought that Dolan and consequently encountered Dave/Clever Mike for the first time yesterday- great workshop and a very helpful dude. Not my nearest shop but will certainly be visiting again in the future

David at Clever Mike did a superb job building my wheelset last week.

Clever Mike's is great, a General good time is to be had in that workshop. Dave's built a few bikes for me over the years and is nothing but patient, generous and knows his stuff. I don't go anywhere else now... mainly down to the tab.

That Dolan went for funds to build up some tidy wheels! Which have been a treat.
