Just need to update this to mention that the Finisterre 'Merino' t-shirt is actually a merino blend (80% Merino, 20% Polyamide). Don't know when they changed this as all their older stuff was fully merino.

In that case, I'm nowhere near cool enough to be 'on trend'. I did see a teenage boy of about 15 wearing a onsie in A&E last week and he didn't seem remotely embarassed. I'm aging rapidly, I'll have turned into my dad before long.

I was 'cool' today. Wore shorts....sandals and no socks....more cold than cool....happy to say I have never been on trend....or trendy.....I am proud to be a square...or rectangle!

1. Finisterre 'Portland' Merino T-Shirt/base layer 80% merino 20% polyamide, Men's Size Small. Basically this one but in 'forest' green: http://www.finisterreuk.com/shop/mens/clothing/merino-wool-base-layer/classic-weight-peformance-fit/eddy-shortsleeve-midnight.html
Used twice and washed, fit doesn't really suit me. Has a bit of stitching come loose round the neck - £15 SOLD
2. Finisterre 'Portland' Merino T-Shirt/base layer. Same as above but still new in bag - £30 > £27
3. Aldi 'Crane' Merino Wool leggings, Women's Size Medium - Bought for the girlfriend only to find that she's allergic to all wool. - £12 >£10
4. Folk Clothing 'Undergarm' top, Size 2 (Small). Like all folk clothing it cost something obscenely daft - over £100, but I only wore it once for an evening to the cinema (Despicable Me 2, film buffs), sadly I'm nowhere near cool enough to carry this off as it basically looked like I was wearing pyjamas. Yours for £50 > £45
5. Puma Suede Classic - Size 9. Essentially new, bought and tried on for size, however I found that the stitching round the edge of the sole is present on the inside and thus rather uncomfortable. Could be remedied with a pair of insoles or possibly some sugru or similar. - £30 >£25
6. Selle Italia Tri-Matic saddle - Yellow, bit scruffy, some rust on the rails - £12 > £10
7. Gap Khaki Shorts - Loose Straight Fit - 29" Waist (fits 30 ok). Little wear, nice comfy touring short - £10 > £8
