@aerone1609 you can do one with your dodgy light switches too. Are they also for sale?

Graeme Obree build lo=pro with track ends, if only there was a size but looks like at least a 1.85 meter length is required to cycle it.

I know you shouldn't normally promote your own ebay sales but mine is 100% for charity!

Great stuff!

Wow, thanks! Will try to see if it is still on sale. Unfortunately nice small bikes are difficult to find :(

Gazelle pursuit, very nice but also very small.
Ad says it used to be Petra de Bruin's bike... -

There's a 853 donohue track hiding in here:

I was looking for this Donohue. The guy was ok to sell me the bike for £180 (yep good deal for me). I was just waiting the exact measurement. He changed his mind just before I can collect it because he received a £450 offer (but it makes some sense when the difference is huge ^^). However it was too big for me, so no regrets. The seller is just convinced that it worths a fortune.

Wasn't that up on the 'bay with a £600 BIN? I'm sure it's the same bike but can't remember how overblown the price wanted was
-
• #52214
What size is it?
-
• #52215
Exactly! He received an offer for £450 and listed his bike on eBay for £600. It's a good bike, but he doesn't know a lot about what he is selling and it's probably in poor condition/need a lot of work on it.
I gave him a schema of "how to measure a bike". According to him it's 56x56 (which makes sense when you look at some other Donohue). -

What do people think about this:

Good price?
-
• #52217
are you serious? ... 400 at most
-
• #52218
Ha! Well, I wasn't saying for one moment I approved of the price. That said, I'm pretty sure it's worth well more than 400 snots. The frame is in excellent condition, and it's nice build. Check out the full spec. and get back to me:
I'd also be curious to know whether those measurements add up - the wheel-base seems too short for the top-tube length for one.
-
• #52220
This will go for big money.
-
• #52221
The frame was sold from Pedal Pedlar for 375. Nice looking one.
-
• #52222
Yes, my own investigation led me back to Pedal Pedlar too. Weirdly, they've given different measurements on the frame.
The question is, has the guy on eBay added enough value to justify his asking price. What do you reckon? -
• #52223
Surely the components look great. But I don't know their value, but I doubt a whole groupset would cost £1200 alone!
-
• #52224
It is an expensive groupset though.

Athena was campas lower tier groupsets.
below c-record and chorus.
You can get much better stuff for the money.
the frame is certainly nice but the whole bike is worth nowhere near the asking price.
would be great on this Cinelli pista
