They are made to also maintain the wheel position no matter how much abuse you throw at it. The bike I used before had integrated chain tensioners. Wheel position Never slipped once in 3 years abuse, accidents etc. love it.
Hope the Dolan gives a similar experience.
Thanks for the advice on the wheel nuts. Those are the exact track ones I currently use from the Velodrome shop.
I'll test out on the Dolan without the MKS that I bought once I get it up and whipping.

Chain tensioners are only used to make adjusting the chain tension easy. They are not made to take the force of pedaling or braking. You are not doing the nuts up enough
