Just stripped the threads in my BB

Fuck Fuckity Fuck replacing a BB in my look kg 221 after the bearing started seizing up and ended up wrestling the fucked cup and bearing out of the BB ended up stripping about 5mm of thread. Really Fucked off at the mo I hope this can be re-taped any advice guys?

Total thread is around 15mm on each side on the bottom bracket right? Should give you plenty of thread left to engage.

Hi, just had my BB re-threaded and its fine the Tifosi BB I used had a carbon shell and two alli washers/spacers holding the bearings. As the BB shell was being withdrawn the spacer somehow got taken with the shell at one point leaving the bottom of the spacer in place and pulling the top with the shell. This forced the axle down on the right and up on the left hand side of the BB causing both shells to deform and tear the threads from the BB. Anyway upshot is its OK and panic over just won't be using that style of BB again.
