Do not use shinybikes.com! I wish I had seen this thread before I placed an order with them.
They sent me the wrong crankset with a groupset I ordered, they asked me to return it to them on the promise of immediate replacement and refund of postage costs.
I later find out that they never actually had the item in stock and so just sent something similar. (As is the experience of others mentioned elsewhere in this thread.)
Anyway, I returned the incorrect crankset, tracked, and they received it the next morning. Over the next week or so I have to make numerous calls chasing them on my replacement, each time I was outright lied to with a "yeah, it's going out today". I wait and wait and nothing turns up.
Several weeks later and after frequent chasing, they actually get stock of the item they sold me in the first place and send me the replacement.
I'm still waiting to be refunded on the postage costs I incurred returning their mistake, but they've now stopped answering my calls and will not return any of my emails.
Oh, I also made the initial purchase over the phone and was told a total price for the order, I gave them my card details and then saw on the invoice that they added an additional £5 for postage costs without telling me.
Stay clear of these unprofessional, lying scumbags.
