Shinkuu, Tina, both very strong. I need to work on my observational photography. Am going through a portrait stage at the moment.

Mike,
it was part of a semi-formal shoot. We've know Natalie since she was 8, and I was supposed to be doing headshots before she went to drama college.I got lucky - but I look at your work and see there's more skill and experience than luck.

I was bought an online photography course as a birthday present. One of my assignments is to take 36 shots of a subject which I've decided will be my bike that just happens to be in a transitional period at the moment - no brakes, one will be fitted soon I hope. However, this might make for sleeker, minimal shots. That got me thinking, pedals: retention or not?

You'd best come up with your own vision for what this subject will look like.
It's your course; not even being able to decide whether you want straps on your pedals or no doesn't bode well. -

So, I've lost the MH-24 charger for our Nikon D3100
I've found the right thing at both Nikon - http://store.nikon.co.uk/VEA006EB/product/
Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-MH-24-UK-Battery-Charger/dp/B00506DUFG/
And Bristol Cameras - http://www.bristolcameras.co.uk/p-nikon-mh-24-battery-charger-for-en-el14.htmBristol Camera's are about £2 cheaper (inc P&P) than the others, is there anywhere else worth looking for it?

Legal where you are?
-

@withered_preacher yes cockfighting is legal in the Philippines. That lovely gentleman Marcos passed a law back in the 80s to try and take the heat out of the protests. Since then it's grown into a billion dollar industry. There are plenty of "illegal" unsanctioned backyard fights (where the photo was taken) but also legal sanctioned fights and the biggest cockfighting arena is the same stadium that held the Ali - Frazier "Thrilla in Manila" fight.
@well_is_it Thanks. Versatility is good but on the other hand I'm kind of interested to try out being 'restricted' by zoom (or lack of).
