I've seen him quite a bit too, do you see him in the mornings? Sometimes he's totally smashing it, but sometimes mega-pootling.
I've always wanted to find out what he's preparing for, but never bothered to speak to him
If it's the same guy as you're talking about, he seems to have joined RPR recently (started seeing him in their kit). So, out with the fixed bike, in with a cervelo with deep rims.

I have only seen him in the evenings. And always going v slow. The fact I had seen him many times but always going slow made me curious. It sounds a bit like he has a varied training plan but I always happen to come across him on easy days.

Doing sprint training but you're only catching him when he's not actually sprint training?
disclaimer: I don't koew if thats how sprint training works
-
• #4982
He's probably doing efforts and then recovering at village policeman pace.
Unless he's training for a kilo it's pretty unlikely that he's doing sprint training on a TT setup.

How long does Frieze London actually go on for? It seems to take months to set up then there was shitloads of traffic days before the official opening and then loads days after it's supposed to have closed.

I have a former frieze director sitting behind me. I shall ask.

End of October. It's on site for a month. Art transport would have been yesterday and today (and maybe tomorrow) so that's the smaller stuff out, site takedown is next.

If he knows who is running the VIP coach service to/from Mayfair could he tell them their driver was driving "like a right cunt" on OKR this morning.

Main disruption is normally for a week either side. Usually ok after that.

Anyone know when the outer circle gates are shut? Am thinking it's linked to when the sun goes down.
Was hoping to do an HoP after work tomorrow y'see. Although the gates that stop traffic getting in doesn't stop bikes I guess....

anyone in the park today?

when is this happening next?

Its really dark in the park now. I would be nervous about doing group riding at speed in those conditions absent a massive front light.

Is it true, that the park is closed for cars in the mornings? If so, at what time they re open it? Website says the park is opened from 5am to 9pm.
-
• #4997
Yes that is true.

Until what time would have been useful.
-
• #4999
Roads generally open to traffic ~6.40ish. Cars can be there earlier or later depending on the time that royal parks opens each gate that day.

The website says:
Please note: Park roads are closed from midnight to 7am (except for residential access).
