Try sapore on Commercial road, home made foods. The stuffed gnochi are lovely, cornetti di salmone starters are amazing. The tortelli with strawberries is amazing.

Just discovered LoonFung supermarket in Chinatown. What an ace place!
Picked up enough hot sauce to drown a child.

Comfort food tonight, switching panchetta for smoked bacon to add some smoky depth.

Looks nice. Be interested to know how it comes out.

Mind blowing, I blended everything other than the ribs before adding the chocolate and reduced the sauce down before re-adding the ribs.

So that leads to the next question.... what chocolate did you use? Think dinner next day off is sorted.

Went to Casse Croute on Bermondsey Street last night.
They turn the tables over quickly and food isn't anything a decent cook couldn't do at home but it was bloody tasty and great atmosphere.
As a lover of French food I think Terroirs is still my favourite in London and Comptoir Gascon is a lovely relaxed vibe without packing people in. I'd have to go back to CC to decide where it sits against these two. Loved Bruno Loubet also.
