  • i wish... so much...

    I need a holiday...

  • Say that three times whilst looking at a mirror and TheBrick will appear and gut you and suck your brains through you stomach hole with a Krazy Straw.

  • Lol that is always been like that.
The traffic build up in the whole area is at breaking point

  • No idea about traffic but kudos for mentioning my old road

  • Sun was out, minimal traffic, no cunts, good pace, should have been 8.5/10 but my knees were cold. 7/10

  • Overheard some people at work (in teddington) talking about roadworks in twickenham / kew... Might be that?

Hit a massive pothole last night coming down Combe hill towards a3 crossing, dented rim and pinch flat... Argh.

  • Where are you living these days? I will be moving back to New Malden soon.

  • I think I know of this pothole you speak of, although there are several, is it the one between the bridge and peds crossing?

  • Its not snowing yet. But its officially too fecking slippy for the fixie skidder.

So I took the Fatbike. The big carbide studs make it sound like a diesel, on bare tarmac. Which is handy as it helps me resist the urge the bike gives me to make bbbbrrrrrrrrrmmm noises.

  • Quiet enough train to get a double seat to myself, get to London in beautiful sunshine & nice wet roads to scare away the part-timers. Awesome commute.

  • Drunkenly tried to fettle canti brakes after returning from pub last night. Failed. Commuted on tube. D'oh.

  • Haven't ridden to work since tuesday as it's been raining in the morning and threatening to hit below zero during the day thus covering the streets with black ice and preventing me from getting home.

I realise that my studded tyres are useless in this weather as they are made of a really hard rubber compound making them slippery as fuck in the wet.

  • @Jezston where are you based? studded tyres?

  • Swapped saddles. Much better. Anyone wanna buy a Selle Italia SLS Max Flow?

  • I wish the weather would just make it's mind up, I don't care if it's going to be sub zero for months, just as long as it's consistent. Yesterday morning was icy so I dressed for the occasion this morning as well, only got 10 yards down the road before I had a full on sweat attack.

  • How silly of you when it's clearly vest weather.

  • Yeah, it's a little like when you unexpectedly hurt yourself, and that dread knowing that in a split second the pain will start. I stepped out of my flat, taking the warmth with me, and waited for the cold I was dressed for to hit....it didn't. What a toasty ride.

  • Something in the air or something today. Drivers swinging all over the road, jumping reds ( I know, pot calling the kettle black) and peds with death wishes.

To top it all off, the marathon on the back of my winter bike seems to have suddenly become so squared that cornering at anything above walking pace is now terrifying.

  • This morning was 4/10 hoping its 8/10 on the way back at least ..

  • Best thing ive ever seen

Dude in all black tights, long sleave top, black backpack

Wearing one of those stupid polution masks,

    No helmet

    No lights

Care about your lungs but no shits given about the rest apprently.

  • Stockings for arms are gauntlet gloves. Arm warmers are quite clearly tubes. You can get tubes for arms, legs and boobs, they're warm versatile portals for body parts.

  • why do you rate lack of helmet more important than lack of lights?

    Helmet thread >>>>>>>>>>

  • Lots of drivers on my commute, many without seatbelt or helmet on.
