• Be wary of eating fatty foods as they reduce your body's ability to process the lovely, lovely sugary goodness you need for riding quick. I'd save the pies for after.

  • I was talking about sweet fruit pies. Probably still fatty. But I dont eat much fat before or during a ride. As it gives me that full feeling, and makes it hard to drink.

    Think I worked out that I drink about 2/3 of what I need. Yet I still find myself riding in Groups where I seem to have the highest water compsumption. Cant help but think scandies have learnt to suck water out of the air via skin osmosis.
