I was talking about sweet fruit pies. Probably still fatty. But I dont eat much fat before or during a ride. As it gives me that full feeling, and makes it hard to drink.
Think I worked out that I drink about 2/3 of what I need. Yet I still find myself riding in Groups where I seem to have the highest water compsumption. Cant help but think scandies have learnt to suck water out of the air via skin osmosis.
Be wary of eating fatty foods as they reduce your body's ability to process the lovely, lovely sugary goodness you need for riding quick. I'd save the pies for after.
