Can't believe this thread has had over 80k views in a relatively short time. If anything, it shows there's a demand for more well made well designed well priced stuff in the UK.

Looks like they're made by Defeet and the Wooleator model. Never personally owned merino socks but looking at the marketing guff and promises of cool in summer, warm in winter, no smell etc, I kind of want some in a bad way.

^interesting, as both ashmei and rapha have used blue associates for product design/research, so there's potential for overlap or a bit more of a headstart than other company's attempts.
