Incidentally I passed a branch of Evans this morning and there was a poster advertising "tights for arms". Is this some sort of euphemism for arm warmers?

And shouldn't they actually be 'stockings for arms'?

Leg warmers for arms would more accurately describe arm warmers I'd think.
