Fair enough, I guess I have warm hands as I've never struggled with silk and I've always found it hard wearing too.
How do merino liners hold up in terms of longevity?

i don't have cold hands either. just if one was wondering which is better if one does..
how they hold up depens on the quality(obv) which if think is quite good in my liners. so buy a cheap chinaman product you might need to buy new ones soon.
they fit me well and are inside the glove so very little friction that would cause the gloves to rip. if the stiching holds up i'll be using these for a long time to come..
