In defence of Brand, he's made teenagers normally watching x-factor interested in politics, not an easy task.

• #61832
Has he, though?

He has a lot of good stuff to say. But he has posh word Tourettes, and listening to him makes me insanely angry.
Its so fecking 'look at how clever I am losers!'
He may as well do the Whole interview With his Cock out, stroking it smugly, so that the interviewer is in no doubt that it is bigger.
Bah, End rant.

Let's not derail this thread with that useless tosser

No, he justifies their apathy by wrapping it up with some big words, but the core message is no different to one of a 16 year old school drop out...
He is no more clever the average person just with a broader vocabulary, he spent his time getting off drugs reading books and learning big words which he now appears addicted to using.
And he cant ride a bike for shit, saw him twatting about outside jag shoes, on the wrong side of the road, stupid wooly hat on like it's still 2002.
Dick.
Sorry.
On with memes?

Really? I´ve heard a few people say that, but seen no actual evidence. Now, the Scottish referendum got a huge number of them active and involved, on both sides (mostly Yes, though). That has lasted (so many of them are pissed off by the result and want to see things change). Other things that have engaged that age group:
- Occupy. (Brand involvement: nil)
- Anonymous. (Nothing to do with Brand. He turned up last night to get on camera and was booed a bit).
- Kat Banyard and her UK Feminista movement. (Brand involvement: rancid misogynist with a track record of disrespecting women. In his new political booky wook, he tells feminists to shut up until the revolution is over because they´re only distracting people from the ¨real¨ issues. Yes, I have read it. It´s shit.)
- UKIP. Seriously, bunch of loonies that they are, they have a rapidly growing youth wing.
Sodding UKIP can show more genuine impact on the political awareness of British teenagers than Brand can. That is unlikely to change.
- Occupy. (Brand involvement: nil)

Brand is just a younger generation's Idiot's Genius (like Stephen Fry is to the slightly older lot of idiots).
