• Anyone want to have a go at this? Needs a strip back and rebuild i think.

I think this must've had a respray/rebuild in the 80's. But beyond that i don't know too much about it. Any more info would be appreciated...

Shimano wheel-set, flip flop hub. Or flop flop as both sides are currently fixed..
    'Strong' seatpost, 26.6mm.
    Cottered solida cranks.
    'Foreign' brakes.
    GB stem.

  • Just saw this in the flesh. Great frame this one.

Always nice to meet you @mrgumby!!

  • What measurements please.

  • 23" square CTT/CTC

Tange levin headset. Steel GB quill stem, needs re-chroming.

Mix of 80's and 60's parts, i reckon the frame must be 1960's?

  • bump for this before I split it!

    £195 or offers...

  • Now split:

    And de-greased:

Everything in great condition.. Frame and forks weigh 2.6kg

Nice Renold 'elite' chain under all the grot.

  • Wheeels 27 x 1 1/4"
BSA Rear flip flop HUB - shimano front hub.
    MILREMO rims.
(Rear wheel needs a new spoke and a true.)

Rear hub has been re-greased (cones are in very good condition, no pitting.)

    Update...

I had the track ends tidied up (by winston vaz) and then stripped the paint and lacquered it (armourtx).

When i got it back, it had acquired a small dent/ding in the top tube. Which i guess had previously been filled and painted over.

Anyway, I was planning on building it up for myself but am now having second thoughts..

    So..

If anyone wants to take it on then the frame/fork is for sale for the next week or so. After that i will have more cash and have got excited about building it up again.

    23"/23" ctt/ctt (square)

    £110for the frame and fork.

Collection from nw3 , next to gospel oak tube.

  • Sizes in cm? :) sorry, I just can't get my head around inches.

And new pictures would help. I love the fork crown!

  • size in inches x 2.54=size in cm
