  • So given the actions you perform on each bike are not super-specialist frame repairs, you think it's ethical to deceive the buyer into thinking they're getting a bargain rather than allowing them to decide whether your markup is fair given the original value of the bike?

    If you're doing this as a business you should have access to trade accounts and bulk purchasing so that even after you've paid the necessary VAT and income tax, your offer is still a good deal for the buyer even when they know the original price.

  • Anyway thanks for all the advice, not the personal stuff, but I do see where you are coming from. Maybe it would be better if there was a classified section that way everybody, buyer, seller, knows where they stand because it isn't immediately obvious and there is no buyer guidelines that I am aware of.
