They can take you to the small claims court up to 6 years after the alleged breach of contract - presumably their terms of business which you accepted before receiving service specified some sort of payment terms, which you'd be in breach of if you didn't cough up within the specified time after request for payment, typically anywhere from 30-90 days.

anyone know how long a company has to invoice you, before it can be written off? I had three physio sessions at my gym a year ago and despite me asking for an invoice, never received one - then about three months later, I received a shitty email asking me to pay, so I asked for an invoice again, and still didn't receive it. Now they have written to me asking me to pay immediately?!
