Brother cycles is a UK brand but they produce their frames in large scale overseas somewhere in the Orient. It is not a huge price for a bike like this. Although the design and build quality has the UK stamp on it in order to have a frame at an affordable price (£539) it has to be built somewhere else or if you prefer as a "off the peg". Hand built frames are nowhere near this prices...

hmm you might want to see the retail price of all the components above and add it up.
perhaps that will give you a better answer as to if the price i stated is overpriced.i am putting here as there are people patronizing this forum as much but not residing in UK.

They build these in the UK, why would someone ship it back here if they could buy one for not much more cash brand new? Huge price drop or Ebay methinks!
