  • Getting a 105 5500 octalink bb to fit the 7710 cranks I got.
    Also looking at getting the X2 in either -10 or -17deg and a slamdatstem topcap.

    Other than that it's a Thomson seatpost clamp, an Izumi Eco chain and the bb to complete it.

    Also a potential wheelbuild if I can find cheap enough 7710 hubs. Maybe even just go with Miche Primato hubs.

  • In my experience, nothing wrong with the hubs, spin smooth and bearings can be swapped.

    I would, just in case, put some water repellant on top where the seals are. It's rare to happen but if water gets into the space between bearing/hub you get alu/steel fusing = instant binning job once the bearings go.

    personally, I would avoid the X2. Will look a bit busy and heavy. The stem you have on there looks great.

  • I know the fork is look, but IMO something straight would look better, a beauty though
