Not at all.
That's the only criticism I have of them though, in other respects they are great value for money and work well down to mid single digits in centigrade (for me - your circulation may be better or poorer than mine).

Poorer probably but will just chuck some cheepo Aldi jobs on top when it's really cold. Where have people ordered them from? Seem to be out of stock in a lot of places at the moment.

Sigma
Always riding have the electronic touch ones aswell

Is it really that hard to take your finger out of a glove? Also, how often are you using a phone while you're out riding? #doingitwrong
The regular defeet gloves got me through 95% of last winter, and survived a spill. They are completely awesome.. pretty much the best vfm cycling item I can think of.

Does defeet sell a glove that lets me Vine myself Instagramming my new gloves (whilst wearing them)?
Tweet me.

Sigma and always riding only have giant or tiny sizes from what I can tell. I'll be using them on the work bike and tend to get lost on the way to jobs so a quick google map check happens quite a lot.

They're A-Z compatible...
-
• #1360
But then I'd have buy an A-Z and hire a map reader to figure out estimated arrival times, think I'll just spend the extra fiver on the ET version.

One use only init :)

Amazon?

I've had a decent search round, thought you might have found something I'd missed. I've picked up some cheapo PX jobbies for will grab some from always riding when new stock is in.

I'm a large in Defeet gloves so guess I didn't think about how small an otters paws would be
-
• #1365
Ha. These otter's paws are a M/L but the defeet gloves come up a little large apparently.

Seriously, the merino wools will be surprising as you'd think you'll feel the icy air going through, but that's not the case.
-
• #1368
i think the prenda ones aren't the merino version, which is annoying because i didn't notice until after they arrived.
-
• #1369
Ohhh right all the ET/Non ET talk confused me cos they only do wool gloves with ET :)
-
• #1370
Yeah, nearly missed that somewhere else.

Merino liner inside Specialized Element inside Specialized Sub-Zero lobster mitt and my fingers were still painfully cold this morning and it's not even proper winter yet.
Think I'm going to accept the stink and get some of those Lomo diving golves in get-the-fuck-out-of-my-way yellow.

Are your hands anything but warm when they go into the gloves?
I often warm my hands over the gas hob to make sure that they go into gloves warm and thus stay warm.
-
• #1374
Yeah, they're fine when they go in. That reminds me of the drawback I found when I tried neoprene last time with the Castelli things. You needed to put warm hands into the gloves or they'd never warm up and because of this, once you put them on, you could never take them off.
I think the problem I have, other than shit circulation, is like Dammit...gloves that are too tight. I get in a vicious circle where my hands get cold so I use a liner. That in effect reduces the size of the glove and the insulating air which makes them cooler, so I stick glove and liner into an over-mitt, restricting my hands/free air even more.

My finger tips started to get the "tingle of impending doom" this morning (2.6 degrees when I left the house), but didn't actually get further than that - I might have to break out the next tier of glove (which will be XXL to get over the pinch point problem alluded to by SamD above).
