All browsers use aRGB as their default colour profile and you can't overode it so make sure you assign it as a working profile to achieve consistent results.

Thanks. Are you positive about aRGB being default the colour profile? AFAIK the sRGB is the default for the web and recognized by the colour managed browsers. My file was with a sRGB profile attached yet the colours shifted which made me suspect that the LFGSS site software discared the profile on uploading.

I think he meant sRGB, it's just a typo.
Check the file you have on your computer, the one you uploaded, if it really contains the *s*RGB profile.
The one being displayed on this page, the uploaded one, just contains a "standard" RGB profile.
