Agreed.

The groupset is earlier than the frame: it isn't original.

agree , that's why i am confused about the age of the frame . i try to find when they start using this tubing . I found a catalogue of 97 with a corsa 01 just wondered if there were earlier ones .

Perhaps by a couple of years, but not by much more.

Campag introduced Ergo shifters in 1992 and Shimano were a little earlier.

It would have taken a few years for them to become "standard" and for framebuilders to add those guides.
