It is not hard to take apart. Does the pump make a noise still?
Sure but there's not much point taking it apart unless I can do something with the pieces :/
Yeah it makes the right noises, and the steamer works fine.

So a blockage/ or switch issue. Would it be easy to open up the boiler and clean it out. Maybe a new gasket set.
You can order all the parts on line and there is a guy in NW9? that does the parts.

This shows how to dismantle the boiler and see if there is a blockage.
