best thingy in these frames.. 130OLD, ITA BB, 27.2 seatpost and VEERY fine geometry for everything.
The 8spd sti-s are the most reliable shifters shimano produced, they are much more robust than 9 or 10 speed ones.
Very beautiful frame, I guess the OP would also sell the frameset separately, if there was a serious offer.
