Shipping Bikes

  • Can anyone recommend a courier who will collect and package a bike? Cheap, reliable, efficient, quick. Within reason of course. I'm thinking it could be good way to buy a bike from other parts of the country where prices don't seem to be as high all the time comparable to London (of course I'm sure there are exceptions).

    Thanks

  • All couriers collect, none will pack it.

    Normally the seller arranges it.

Try Parcel2go: £10 off with your first order.

  • I will do mate, thanks for the help. I guess I may need weight and dimensions for a Parcel 2 Go Quote which I'm sure some sellers would help with.

  • You'll need the weight and dimensions, to get a quote from anyone.

  • You will also need whoever you buy it from to box it up(won't happen as they won't have a bike box). Then most cheaper services will be lovely and collect between 7am-7pm or some other helpful collection time... which is going to piss off whoever you buy from to no end.

  • I have a cardboard bike box if you need one

  • I've used Paisley Freight for bikes, frames, sets of car alloy wheels and they've always been very good. They also have a specific service for bikes so, so long as it's in a bike box you don't need the exact dimensions or anything.

  • Whatever you do avoid Yodel and Herpes sorry Hermes.

  • Anyway, teh internetz means the whole premise of your argument is flawed: whether you're in the sticks or the burbs, a Foffa will cost you the same.
