why do you want to remove it?

The inner crank bolt is damaged but I can't replace it as I can't get the outer off.

From memory, it has green Loctite on its thread.
You need a massive 16mm allen key to remove it IIRC. I have use a track nut in the past with a pedal spanner.
Anyway, it is not reverse threaded and should come off quite easily. If not, heat it a little to soften the green Loctite.
On the SRAM Omnium cranks, there is a bolt that you tighten up to fit the non-drive side crank, and undo to remove the crank. When removing the NDS crank this bolt pushes up against a bigger bolt and forced the crank arm off the spindle. My question is... is it possible to remove the outer larger bolt, lets call it the 'crank bolt retaining bolt' if you like :)
I've tried using an allen key and a length of pipe to get enough torque but it doesn't seem to move. Is it reverse threaded or something?
