On the SRAM Omnium cranks, there is a bolt that you tighten up to fit the non-drive side crank, and undo to remove the crank. When removing the NDS crank this bolt pushes up against a bigger bolt and forced the crank arm off the spindle. My question is... is it possible to remove the outer larger bolt, lets call it the 'crank bolt retaining bolt' if you like :)
I've tried using an allen key and a length of pipe to get enough torque but it doesn't seem to move. Is it reverse threaded or something?
