    Really? As Greenhell said on last page, amber gambling is normalised, I'd add that 1 or 2 cars through on red was pretty normalised too.

  • Amber gambling is normalised, you're right, and it doesn't make it right. I haven't came across a set of lights where there is a green Man or traffic crossing the path the instant a light changes from amber to red. Normally there is a small time gap in the changing of the other signals.

    That being said, the traffic in London is obviously a lot more than in Glasgow. The only times I've seen amber gambling with multiple cars coming through even after that is Hermiston Gait outside Edinburgh where there are multiple accidents, and people quite rightly get held responsible through insurance claims, and where somebody has clearly went through a red light and caused and accident, charged by the police as well.
