Front wheel braking surface has black tape, but the rims are grey.

I like a bit of silver in my nips.

He'd have got up there much quicker with some gears.

Gears aint gonna get you fanny on top

Pretty sure he has 256million gears in his glutes.
I guess they edited out the punctures.

Ugh not that seabase shite again, pretty sure you posted that last time Andy. Such wank.

I find it quite impressive/inspirational.
There is a great sense of achievement in beasting up a big hill on a fixed, can only be multiplied hugely by riding the big passes, with the mountains around you and the tranquility up there.

Not rating the tape/saddle tbh
-
• #43066
That's ok. Red on the saddle is unfortunate but they're my perfect saddle. Tape is just something a bit different, matches the logos but doesn't really show in the pictures. Got pink tape for the risers when I eventually find a decent stem.

Re the climb: I don't think he would've got up there much quicker with gears.
Straight chainline
Power to weight advantage
More direct transmission
I regularly blast my mates on geared bikes

Every cog has its day...

Yeah that wasn't a particularly serious comment, it was just because we know how much Andy loves road bikes.

i would like to see some guys rideing fixed uphill some really badass passes with more than 20%.
everything is possible with fixed, but it's much more fun with gears as you have to have an eye for the hills, the nature and all the surrounding things. and downhill with gears/freewheel is 1000% more fun as you can go faster without the stupid skidding look -

Really? far too black to be grey.
