• After having a massive cull this summer, I then went and bought more bikes! We are down to 6, in a 1 bed flat and of my 3 road bikes I can't decide which to sell. So

1x Brian Rourke 653 Audex road bike. Black and chrome... Beautiful! 60cm ish ctc, 61 ctt of top tube. Chrome rear end, 105 10 speed shifters/levers, 105 rear mech, ultra cranks- the arm have been powder coated dark grey, 105 front mech, Anodised Black Paul Neo Retro canti's front and rear, Mavic Open Pros on Hope Pro III hubs, Campagnolo headset, Deda Stem, Deda Bars, ITM post, Brand New aluminium Dia Compe ENA mud guards, Carradice Bagman 2, 2x bottle racks, Condor cable hangers. The paint has a few chips in it but the frame is dent and crack free.. its stunning! Doesn't come with pedals, or the Brooks Saddle thats currently fitted but will supply a Charge Spoon to match the bike £750

1x Rixon Reynolds 731 os Race, custom 90's bike. 58.5cm ctt. Shimano 600 brakes, 600 rear mech, 600 left shifter (Right shifter is a Dura Ace) 600 brake levers, 600 front mech, 600 rear hub and 600 headset. Campagnolo Record chain set, Campagnolo BB, Hope titanium front hub, Flite titanium saddle, Mavic CXP33 rims, Cinelli Bars, Cinelli Stem. The frame is dent and crack free but the paint is tatty and could do with a repaint, if you so desired, has achrome rear chain stays but the chrome has seen much better days, does have rust here and there, but its my winter hack! It has super compact Geo!!! Its compact at the front and very tight tyre clearance at the rear. Super fast ride and I absolutely love commuting on this thing! Doesn't come with pedals £275

Atala 1981, columbus sticker but unsure of exact spec. 58cm ctt. I bought this for L'Eroica next year, but it seems far to far away at the moment. It has a Campagnolo GS chain set, Campagnolo GS rear mech, Campagnolo GS front mech, Campagnolo GS shifters, Mafac BB, Campagnolo headset, Campagnolo hubs, Campagnolo skewers, Mavic rims, Selle Itiala Super Record seat, 3TTT stem, cinelli bars, Wienmann Brakes and levers. The paints been touch up over the years, has chrome fork crown, chrome in good condition. It needs a seat post, a new front tyre and of course some pedals. The components are in great condition, the frame is dent/crack free, the paints the only real thing that lets it down, but that said its still presentable and has a great patina about it. £290

I need to sell one of these, maybe 2, but I guess you guys will make that choice for me!

Oh and I have a 1963 Type 34 Karmann Ghia for sale too if anyone is interested?

    All in Stoke Newington

  • Pictures Added!

  • i can't afford it but that car is amazing

  • Would you split the rourke?
    I'm interested in fram/fork/headset

  • What's the seatpost size of the Atala?

  • Does the Karmann Ghia have an MOT?
    Hows the gearbox?
    Hows the suspension?
Does it start every time, and are the electrics all working?
Any rust under the wheel arches?

  • lovely karmann ghia

    Cheers,
    Matt

  • Interested in the Rourke. PM coming.

  • what's the ctc on the karmann ghia?

  • No I'd prefer not to.

    Cheers Andy

  • I'll find out the exact seatpost size on Saturday and let you know.

    Cheers Andy

  • Yes its MOT'd, 11 month on it at the mo. The gearbox is a Bugbox built freeway flyer ratio box. The cars is low and in all honesty could do with coming up an inch or 2 all round but the rear subframe, spring plates torsion caps are all freshly powder coated, with brand new torsion grommets all round, the car is on Koni adjustable a all round. So generally other than a bit of tweaking the suspension is very good. It starts every time, although it's running twin weber ict's, without chokes, so it may take a couple of turns to get it fired up. The wiring is ok, a little messy under the dash as it's had a bit of tinkering to cover it to 12v and yet still retain the baker lite TV push button dash. It needs the ingnition switch rebuilding as at the moment it doesn't cut power off to the coil when the ingnition is off. The car is running its original pan, it's an Arizona import, for a 1962/63 ghia it's had very little welding. It has original heater channels, not patch up and don't need patching up, original wings, all original panels. There is a very small patch of bubbling on the rear of one rear arch, but otherwise it's an extremely honest car. It's not perfect but it's very very honest!

  • You car is amazing.

  • Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed reply, Dicko. It is a beautiful, and very honest car. I might show this ad to my uncle, who is a classic car restorer / dealer, and see what he thinks. (What I actually need at the moment is a van to carry building materials and tools around in)

  • Pm'd re the atala

  • Hi Dicko, is that a Bagman QR Sport on the Rixon? If so, are you looking to sell it?

  • Hi Sim1515

If my Brian Rouke sells then, no the Bagman on the Rixon isnt for sale, if the rixon sells, then yes it will be.

    Cheers Andy

  • Whatd top Tube in the rixon?
