Late to the party, but I have the Planet X brakes (with Apex levers and Gore sealed cables) and I found them easier to set up than normal dual pivots and they have plenty of power with Reynolds blue pads. From what I heard the CNC ones are good and the forged ones are pants, but I dunno, CNC is what I got.
