Fair enough. I'm pretty certain that Campag 9-,10- and 11- speed cassettes all fit on the same hub though; I had a wheelset from my 9-speed bike which I've subsequently used with 11 speed no problem. This means as long as the wheel has a campagnolo hub later than 8-speed, you'll be fine.

Couldn't you just reuse the hubs you have on new rims? Sorry if I missed something.

Quick mockup. Everything I already have exept the brakes (in the basement). This will go to my LBS next week for a test build with my current wheels.

More likely I’ve missed something. Don’t know enough about wheels to be confident I have the right bits. Could certainly reuse the hub, but then I need to know what wheel to use (without the hub attached) and thats where I’m a bit lost. Still a beginner on the more complex parts (I didnt know anything about bikes two weeks ago).

Ha! I hope the bell is there for irony purposes more than warning someone that you are approaching at 40-50kmh :)
