The spammer has been dealt with, please edit your post to remove the spam.

I've banned the spammer, and nuked all of the PMs that he was a party to... which should have emptied your inbox of the spam.

And those of you who just shared the spam with me... that was the right thing.

I shared it because ed told me to, all props to scoble.

Thank you for Destroying All Spammer, could you also do something/tell me what to do about the "1 new message" icon that I have because of it? I didn't actually see the PM but I guess I must have got one in the night anyway as i have a notification of A Message but no accompanying message. And because I have no message I can't clear the notification.

I got so excited at the thought somebody wanted to speak to me and I have nothing, nothing! to show for it :-(

What about having a nursery and DJ as tutor of it?

He became so mature and responsible that an official role could enhance the patrimony of humanity. To see him operate would be great.

I wasn't intending to reinstate the nursery, but would consider some new controls.

Perhaps a "You cannot PM until you have posted n comments".

Or a "You cannot PM until n days after registering".

I can confirm that receiving a creepy PM also resets the unread PM counts.

Perhaps include creating a new conversation in the restriction?

That would prevent new users from creatin Rider Down threads if they have witnessed a road traffic incident.
