I admire it very much every time I pass it.

Too right, bloody foreigners, coming over here, getting a big council house and living off our taxes. I am so livid I'm off to write a poor "satirical" calypso about it.

As it happens one of my favourite London trees is the holm oak in St Johns churchyard in SE4. Evergreen oaks, such a great concept
-

Oh yes, I adore holm oaks. Have spotted a few in Brockley. My parents in law have a couple in Suffolk. New Orleans has some absolutely beautiful varieties I saw there in Audubon Park, some with huge roundish acorns the size of quails' eggs.

There are a couple of nice examples of cedar of Lebanon in the rookery by Streatham Common.
There used to be a girls school adjacent to the one in the tag. -

I know this one. No idea it was anything more than a housing estate though...

Ah, map is now long neglected and a bit messy with the final few entries. Of course, the link is broken since the move to the new forum, also. Trying to get that fixed again.

erm….should I answer that?
@middleofnowhere No, it's as close as I want to get to that thieving greco-german pirate dynasty and their masonic baby eating shapeshifting lizard funny business.
