When I was 15 I worked as a general lacky, roadie / rigger type for a promotions company in Norfolk who put on those big arse gigs at country parks and showgrounds. Among the prestigious names I lugged stuff for was Mr Stardust. I guess we're talking early 90s so the audience was mostly giddy 50 year olds from Lowestoft and South Lopham. He was every bit the dude though. Proper hollywood style arrival and departure in a fuck off car. Seemed a bit weird really. Nice bloke but not a patch on Mungo Jerry. Now there was a gent!
All the glam!
RIP sideburned one. (raises one leather gloved fist).

one of our dogs, spooked by fireworks, jumped the wall and ran off into the night.
up first thing this morning scouring the nearby lanes and roads - happened upon her smashed and disjointed corpse - death was horrific but quick.
just digging her burial hole as the rain beats down.
farewell annie, sad times , , ;(
playing in the sand at the gower, that's how i'll remember her ;/

Sad news. Though it was more like a drivers fault for running her over. :(

Horrible news, one of our dogs gets very agitated by fireworks, so last night she was dressed in her thunder shirt which seems to help calm her a bit.
Adaptil collars and plugins have also helped calm our hounds.
Hope you are ok.

So sorry for your loss @rive_gauche. You mustn't blame yourself. xx
what I don't get is My Coo ca Choo was 1973 - he looked like he was in his Forties even then!!
I always hoped that someone would find his other glove and put it on a wall for him........
