    That sounds less fun than sun, sea and sex. Of the three, my guess is that low temperature might be the killer for standard ties, they are made to live happily in hot wiring cabinets, and you can't have a very wide usable temperature range with nylon. I wonder if there is an Arctic grade?

  • Yup it's the cold.

    Have loads of ties keeping corex on the old polo bike (well and the chainring bolts...) always loose a bunch when it gets below 0.

    The thicker they are the better they last, basically get the most heavy duty. (I guess something to do with surface area to volume?)
