Even if it's incompleted, i really like that, especially the woodcut fox and rabbit (I thinks).

Pretty much all walk in places in Bristol are shit.
Go to Broad Street Tattoo in Bath if you want decent work.... Never been there myself, but only heard good things.
Mostly traditional type stuff AFAIK. -

Cheers Hoops, looking them up now.

Nice! I'm keen to get a piece by Horikola. Is he expensive?
-
• #9406
@heavisides yeah, I love his work too. I was thinking of booking in, what's the damage?
-
• #9407
Didn't know whether it was above board to post people's rates so PM'd GoodAdes - someone shout if this is indeed the case!
That piece is about the size of a side of A4, and was £200, but that was done at his place and not at The Circle, where he said it'd be £300.
p.s. RE:knees/shin pain - I found whilst I could feel it most on the bones/caps (major shakey-leg by the time we finished off on the right knee!), the pain was actually worse getting round towards my calves.

I really fancy getting Ten of Swords and a Five of Cups Tarot card tattoos, maybe by Horikola, but I don't know for the life of me where 2 rectangular tattoos would look good...

if anyone has any links to some interesting thigh pieces, let me know. Looking for something that goes all the way around, not just on the front or side.
many thanks

Anyone else get an email yesterday from Lea Nahon offering appointments for next year? When I signed up I was all into her, now I'm not sure. She doesn't ask for deposits so I could just book up and bail later, but that seems like bad form...

My lady friend got a first tattoo with Ricky last week (quite a large mandala on her back), I was going to go meet her for when she was finished, but he was done an hour earlier than expected!
Really nice lines

I was hoping to get something done by Horikola (now going my Kolahari on instagram) soon.
I've had some cash come through and had it ear marked for my second tattoo. I just wasn't sure what to ask for her/him by at The Circle.
I was thinking something along the lines of the Dürer Hare on the inside of my left arm.
Any suggestions for getting it booked? I wasn't sure if there was going to be a long waiting list.

• #9416
I'd just drop him an email, he's really helpful and seems more than happy to take on your ideas and transpose them into his style. I'm not sure about studio waiting times, but i don't think it's too long, maybe a week or two?

Awesome

Is it worth going to a Halloween flash walk-in day/eve thing at say Shangri La or will it be hours of waiting/socialising?

Good old school / sailor style artist in central / south / east anyone? I don't know where to start, there's so many studios and artists out there!

Thanks dude. Any specific artists at those places? I'll have a browse through all the portfolios too

Instagram is probably the easiest way to see who's doing what at any of those studios. Websites are rarely kept up to date. @thecirclelondon @sevendoorstattoo @frithsttattoo
