I don't think we have a 'eBay finds for LLFGSS' thread so here will do...
I am quite tempted by this but can't afford/don't really need, so if anyone's after a (geared) 52cm light tourer/winter road bike this is rather nice: http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=90611

I've swapped my Charge Hob for a Gazelle track
Lovely ride but need to take a new picture as the old MTB stem is er...a tad much. He's called Kees and is 49x53 with a cut steerer so nice n low.

After putting some monies on the side whilst dreaming of a rad touring build,
I got my heart set on the Surly Straggler for it's super versatility, disk brake support and glitter pink version. I loved this build a lot, it was almost that but with rack + mudguards. (and belgian stack)The other day I went to try some Surly sizes, and was quite saded. comes only in 46 or 50 and not in 48, which - although i usually ride 50 - seems it would have been the perfect fit.
The other side of the problem is that in smaller sizes the geometry of the frame is not very flattering. I like a beautiful horizontal-ish top tube, it might be sassy or superficial, but I can't help it. Not being super tall shouldn't mean my bikes will look like toys :-(
For a bike that will be potentially quite expensive and with a long life of adventures ahead of it, I'd like to get things right.Would you have any other recommendations for disc brakes frames with all the eyelets and whistles ?
Current discussion includes
Soma Wolverine
Soma Double Cross
Genesis Croix de Fer
or potentially custom - if it would prove to be the only way. -

Pompetamine?

Salsa Vaya? Not a horizontal top tube though, but I like their geometry which is a shorter (effective) top tube than Surly bikes..

It depends on budget, but the touring bikes thread may have options for you. There's still English builders out there that have off the pegs in small sizes, or like Steve Goff, can do a custom exactly how you want it.

That look like an awesome bike! you should check out the Tektro Junior lever that'll make it far easier to reach from the drop.

Tx ^-^
Of course much grumbling on the build thread...can't please everyone and all that. But it's very comfy on crappy roads, good old 531C.
That's the short reach RL341, so Junior is ever shorter?

Tektro RL320 Junior not only have have a slightly shorter body, but also different lever shape to allow easier braking from the drop, it also got a very nice flat top similar to Campagnolo.

Well, that's my Christmas sorted ^-^
Aw crud... I just put new bar tape on :P

No problem, just loosen the bolt completely, pull out the old lever and slide new lever in.
They both use the same bolt.
