LFGSS Ladies Drinks - 1st Thursday of the Month

Whilst its not completely central I would like to suggest the original Ladies drinks pub of the Captain Kidd near Tower Bridge. It's big, usually quietish of a weekday evening, does good pub grub (including cheesy chips), is a Sam Smiths pub (so cheap) and has awesome river views, outside seating and room for a bike pile in the pub garden.

Would be nice to have a scenic drink! I have never been to that pub but love a Sam Smiths.

Could have feeder ride from centralish if that encouraged more people.

Cleft-o makes a good point about it not being busy weekdays and it's a massive pub and not that far off the central track. And she's suggested it a few times. Squeaky wheel gets the oil etc etc.

Oh, and possible sighting of T to the Four? Ambassador, you are spoiling us!

How about we alternate between 1st Thursday and last Thursday?

So Nov: 6th
Dec: 18th - LLFGSS Christmas Party??

Alternating is gonna get confusing!

Just a 6 month plan example:
First Thu - 6th Nov
Last Thu - 25th Dec, but can't do that so it's 18th - second-last Thu.
First Thu - 1st Jan, but can't do that so it's 8th - second Thu
Last Thu - 26 Feb
First Thu - 5 Mar (1 week after Feb's one)
Last Thu - 30 Apr (approx 2 months between drinks)
etc...

We could just do 6th Nov and then 3rd Thu of the month starting Dec.
Or something similar.

Keep it simple or no one will know when it is!

You both make excellent points - let's stick to the first thursday (not that I'm trying to make decisions or be the boss of everyone, honest!)

YAY! 6th nov is also my second to last day until i have 3 weeks off from work, so i'll already be celebrating !

Hurrah I heart Captain Kidd / all things S Smith. Thursdays are tricky, but will try and make it along for Xmas drinks. V much looking forward to hearing about your BMX exploits.

I'll be in San Fran on Dec 4, but will be there for Nov 6.
