Currently thinking if getting a Felt AR1, and riding it around wearing a Batman cape.

The hi mod evo is one of the nicest frames I've ridden. You won't really get abetter feeling frame. A few out there would equal it. But not be better. But it's not aero.

Aero frames are a bit pointless unless you're racing though...

Pointless is the whole point so.

Been offered a decent price on a 2015 Di2 complete Hi-mod bike.
Really dont want to credit card a complete bike and eBay off what I dont need. Its a faff and a risk. Di2 compatible Hi-mod frames before this are either pricey or sold out in my size.
For racing I'd rather have something uber stable like the Argon 18 Gallium pro I was looking at. Rather than something aero. I figure if I'm more comfortable in a tight bunch, I'll effectively be more aero anyways.

Have you seen the Swiftcarbon bikes? The Ultravox is their stiff-as-hell frame.
-
• #6088
It comes in neon pink.

That would mean he need to change his chartreuse outfit to pink.

Synth pink.

Weirdly I was looking at that Swift.

Had the kind highly compact and solid loo I like. Kinda curious about the their take on geometry too. Thats some head tube angle.
I'm about to put the money down for a pre order on a 2015 frameset. Of all the bikes I looked at. It seemed to fit the best. Should be more comfortable than the BeeMC, more aero, a couple hundred grams lighter, yet just as responsive and fun. In theory. I'm not exactly well placed for a test ride.

Funny looking penis extension...

That's not it BTW. Just a pic of a 2014 ar1 in my size.
My 2015 penis extension will be stiffer.
Badum-tish.

I thought you would :-)
I think they're supposed to be quite good (so says the internet journos – for whatever that's worth). I know there are few Argon riders in my club who have had warranty claims, slipping posts etc. And whilst we're on the subject don't buy a Kuota*
*other opinions are available.

I'm quite taken by Argons.
I just want something fun with decent cable routing. There are probably a thousand framesets that are comfortable enough, stiff enough, and light enough. So I just picked something that would fit well, and I liked the look of.
Just need to save up for a Di2 groupset now.

My sister has been seduced away from running over the last couple of years by her Genesis (drop bars / 8sp hub gear). She's done a couple of century rides and as decided she wants a 'proper road bike'. Budget of £1500. She's probably 5'10" with long limbs. What should she consider?

Boring answer. But Canyon.
or.....

I hadn't got much further than thinking Canyon or possibly Boardman. For £1500 it's hard to look past that ULTIMATE AL SLX 9.0
If you go for a carbon fork and plan on using cantilever brakes make sure it has a hole in the crown to use a fork mounted hanger like this:
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/download/file.php?id=95357
Brake judder is likely to be awful otherwise (switching to mini v s should also solve it).
If you want something cheaper and steel, then look at the surly Cross Check or LHT depending on which get works best for your use.
