So today i was having coffee in friend coffee shop in Dalston and few meters away was my over £4 000 road bike and van pulled over checked my bike and went away few minutes later guy came from side grabbed bike and started to run away as i was chasing him and maybe half mile later he tried to cycle on it but i was lucky that chain came off as he was panicking as i was behind him than i finally got that bastard, some how he got away from me but luckily for me without bike but there was already Mercedes vito white van waiting for him on side of the road, that bastard was wearing dark blue jeans, winter jacket half blue half brown and hood on. Just be careful around Dalston i was very lucky some how i was like forest gump even chasing him with my carbon sidi and speedplay cleats, so just be very careful and aware of that white van that driver looked eastern european but that one who was stealing was english
Good to hear of a positive outcome. Have you made a report to the police? The reg number of the van would be particularly useful, but I suppose in the heat of the moment people only think about such things in films. Which coffee shop was it?
