I always think the 'busier' Nautilus', like the moon phase and chrono look the best and prefer the AP Royal Oak for plain faces.
agreed re busier nautilus ,would
the old royal oak's are nice, when my old man got his ap at the bonhams auction in '05, they had a ss royal oak chrono at a 3 rd of retail price, i like the early royal oaks, my garden man wears one, the current type seem a little too new money/footballer kind of thing, knew someone who had a jz edition ap,not for me, and a mate has like a misson impossible one , stealth like with a kevlar strap which is quite understated
my man repaired my hublot and will be doing my old mans vintage ap soon , needs a quite a bit of work though
i like the nautilus
i saw a few in hatton garden last week when i went to see my watch man, he said they only appreciate
was in Bahnhofstrasse in zurich last year , and saw an overweight older arab type and his security team get an after hours private viewing at the patek store, the security looked naughty, and one was positioned outside by the entrance whilst others went in side and looked after the motors
my man in the garden said the rolex explorer was a good buy, under priced relative to the other sports models the brand has at mo, and if bought well will have room to appreciate once demand grows
