If you ever find yourselves in San Francisco, and find yourself wasted in that part of town (maybe it is a week day and so you can go to The Hemlock without gagging on techie scums weekending it up), I strongly recommend you visit Bob's Donuts
1 Plain cake, 1 plain crumb, 1 old fashioned, 1 raised sugar would be my order.
EDIT: Don't accidently go to the vastly inferior "Donuts n Things". It won't be open anyways.
