Nearly always B, especially when you have right of way.

Why you no play chicken with me? Huh? WHY?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the tirade launched at some dozy bitch driving while on her phone as she just move over on me in my lane. She sheepishly hides the phone down beside her while I look like this outside her window..
"You bitch", indeed.

Ah I was just surprised at your comment earlier, I didn't realise you were a recognised authority in the field of cycle training.
Hows the white single speed with the rear brake caliper that didn't work/was loose it was nearly falling off doing?
Are you still riding around like that or have you decided against having to book a appointment with the dentist to have them put all of your teeth back in? -

lfgss safety man-dem is jokez!
-
• #2961
Not sure why he would need a back brake if he is just going to slam into pedestrians instead

Definitely got hormones

Fuck sake lads, it's 4:10pm - I would have appreciated popcorn a little earlier in the work day.

Had a dream commute. Seemed to have all the green lights, no suicide peds. Managed the whole thing without a single foot down, track stands all the way.
-
• #2965
I'm at work as well, I'm having to juggle work while manning the popcorn machine at the same time here, cut me some slack.

@Antidotes yes I still ride the white one, the pompino isn't finished yet. I have less issues with the secondary rear brake since I swapped from drops+drop levers+crosstops to bullhorns+tt levers. Not had ongoing issues with the primary front brake, had a cable snap but then I pulled the rear brake instead to stop and walked it the last bit home.
Passed 4k accident free miles so far this year according to strava. Maybe you are doing it wrong?

jesus, this is the Alpha Course of 'corn.
someone call someone else a cunt already!

Good to hear.
No, I wouldn't call being run over by a drafter in place of me not slamming on the anchors to avoid having a full head on with a j walking ped necessarily doing it wrong.
Instead I feel a little bit more enlightened to the fact that if I do come to a dead stop to avoid a possible ped strike that I've got a good chance of getting run over by whatever vehicle is behind me. -

Cunt
-
• #2970
I'm convinced. Ped-braking for me from now on.
-
• #2971
Do you need front and rear peds to be legal?
-
• #2972
Both brakes, weight back (to stop the rear lifting up), feet on pedals (for balance) and braced arms (to stop you moving forward).
Just front brake, no?
-
• #2973
This is my emergency braking technique
-
• #2974
But surely if you're braking hard enough on the front, there is no traction on the rear regardless of weight distribution. I mini endo when I emergency brake, rear would be pointless.

I prefer the Snog, Marry, Avoid braking technique.
Not quite a commute but...
Suicide squirrel ran between by wheels (good timing) just at the top of Broomfield Hill (as I was about to descend at 20+mumble mph).
Three laps later I have suicide HumanRace van overtaking cyclists climbing up Broomfield Hill forcing me to swerve to the left to avoid it. Either the driver:
a) did not check that the road ahead was clear enough to perform the overtake over solid white lines, or
b) did check, saw me and thought "fuck it, I'll go anyway"
