Not quite a commute but...
Suicide squirrel ran between by wheels (good timing) just at the top of Broomfield Hill (as I was about to descend at 20+mumble mph).
Three laps later I have suicide HumanRace van overtaking cyclists climbing up Broomfield Hill forcing me to swerve to the left to avoid it. Either the driver:
a) did not check that the road ahead was clear enough to perform the overtake over solid white lines, or
b) did check, saw me and thought "fuck it, I'll go anyway"
