Were there big bright orange flashing lights and sirens going off as men in black drab and gothmariners gather around you!?

I'm an engineer working on energy infrastructure, get to visit some pretty interesting places. Yes, lights flashed and klaxons sounded but once they agreed it was my watch not a nuclear criticality event on their site we all lol'd. Nearly.

It's probably pretty safe. There's a good page somewhere by David (I can't spell his surname just now) Boettecher which details how to deal with Radium dials.

My watchmaker has a meter for measuring radiation and used this on an ex-military Omega which I sent him recently. Apparently safe to wear, despite the mounds of Radium lume.

i saw a few in hatton garden last week when i went to see my watch man, he said they only appreciate
was in Bahnhofstrasse in zurich last year , and saw an overweight older arab type and his security team get an after hours private viewing at the patek store, the security looked naughty, and one was positioned outside by the entrance whilst others went in side and looked after the motors
my man in the garden said the rolex explorer was a good buy, under priced relative to the other sports models the brand has at mo, and if bought well will have room to appreciate once demand grows

I really can't decide whether I love or hate the explorer II. Been growing on me for some time.

That effect evaporates when you handle one. Superlative quality as you'd expect.

Didn't take them long to 'imitate' the Black Bay... Funny but the numerals are the same as the Breitling Superocean.

I think that Parnis is the one brand where even being it's own brand is a total ripoff of the real brands. Maybe I'm just biased...

I like the colour way + starp, but the font on the numerals is fugly.
