Need help removing kryptonite

Posted on
  • Hey there,
So I've gone and lost the key to my kryptonite mini 7 lock which currently is securely holding mine and my girlfriend's bikes prisoner in our apartment building.
I got my mum to post down the spare keys but as is my usual fantastic luck, they were both in one envelope which never turned up.
Does someone have a grinder, saw, croppers or other cutting tool that will go through it? And can I borrow it or would you be willing to come and help me.
I'm located in Hackney Central E8
Can prove that both bikes are mine and I'm desperate to get them free as it's costing me a lot to commute while the bike is out of action.
    Many thanks!

  • You have some luck don't you?

  • Haha I know.
In other news though, I've replaced a few bits on the Belgian beast and can send you that seatpost and caliper. Was there any other bits you want sending back too? I'll post them on payday, end of this month if that's OK?

  • No, you're alright: sell them and donate to the forum/repay Brenda/buy a new lock?

  • Are you sure? How much is a good price for them?
I should be back on my feet by the end of this month. Got promoted at work and start on the 27th so if you do want them back, I can still repay Brenda and buy a new lock :)

  • PM me your address and I'll send you the matching rear caliper: £15/20?

    Similar for the post.

Good to read work is panning out: you left where you were, right?

  • You really don't have to! You've done so much for me already.
I'm with the same company but in a bigger, brand new store in an operations supervisor position

  • Anybody able to assist?

  • You could borrow my angle grinder. My workshop is in E2 on Hackney Road, drop me a PM and we'll work something out.

  • came here looking for superman.
